Here is Bruno, the person in charge of collecting Saint-Nectaire fermier from our partner producers. 🚚 He is not just a truck driver: he is alongside the producers every week for the collection of “white” cheeses, for sampling analyses, delivering cultures for cheese making, and more! Bruno is a key link in our cheese aging business, responsible for the quality of the cheeses transported to the aging caves. At every stage, he ensures that the transfer is conducted under optimal hygiene and safety conditions.
His main quality? He is all-terrain and drives in all weather, even in the snow! He braves the mountains, sometimes with chains, adapts his route based on road closures, and occasionally gets stuck in snowdrifts.
Unbeatable on the roads of Puy de Dôme and Cantal, he ensures that Saint-Nectaire arrives every week in our underground caves in Cournon d'Auvergne for aging that will delight your taste buds!
